Pictorial report of Eram Sabz Zoo in Tehran

Eram Sabz Zoo in the Iranian capital city of Tehran is home to the oldest chimpanzee kept in the zoos of the Middle East.

And also, it hosts the only Iranian lions.

Different species of mammals, reptiles, aquatic animals and birds are kept in Eram Sabz zoo.

Opened to public in 1992, 60 percent of the animals in the zoo are domestic to Iran and the rest of them are from countries such as South Africa.
